Oh, the woes of it being the last day of spring break!

I was watching MSNBC on my computer the other night at the firehouse when I happened to glance upon an advertisement for MasterCard, where they were asking for submissions for a “Priceless” ad that viewers could write up on their own and send. It’s true that their ads have been copied, redefined, plastered as other advertisements all over, setting a trend of comparing what can and cannot be bought with mere money. It’s such simple ingenuity that is perhaps remarkable. There’s so many things in life that I wonder why on Earth had I not thought of it earlier, but I realise that you really can’t dote on what has already been done, but rather you have to start thinking about what original things you can conjure up to impress others. Then again, impressing others isn’t what we all live for, is it?
