The tools I use

I'm a bit ambidextrous when it comes to coding, a hardcore advocate of handcoding while a proficient user of Dreamweaver, a native user of Photoshop with significant experience of Gimp, a user of both Windows and Linux.

    During the summer of 2008, the War News Radio website underwent a major redesign, including a new three-column layout, a new banner and logo, as well integrated features to accomodate a growing audience of listeners of this student-run and widely acclaimed weekly radio show.

    Designed during the period of 10 days during the spring of 2008, this project was a culmination of the LING028 Endangered Languages course as well as a long-desired pet project of my own.

    This project was unique in that it was purchased as a pre-existing website with close to no revenue, and was transformed into one with a steady source of ad income and visitors in a website that boasts close to 3000 free flash games.

    As the Swarthmore College IEEE president I implemented this website in order to facilitate communication between its board members and the community at large. I tried to balance simplicity and aesthetics and emphasized the use of server-side scripts in order to facilitate frequent updates. A work currently in progress.
