I just jailbroke using Greenpois0n Absinthe on a 4S, and when I open the html document to change my weather location, it displays two small white pages instead of text. I pulled the source code from the page and pasted it into the document then resprung, but it fouled up. Any help?

Thanks for the info! FYI, I believe you also need Lock Screen Clock Hide from Cydia.

This isn’t working for me, at all :(! I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall everything but it doesn’t seem to work. It’s a jailbroken iPhone 4S and I’m running iOS 5.0.1, what could be the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dec 4, 2011 | Custom iPhone lock screens on iOS5

It looks like iOS5 made things a little complicated with regards to loading customized lock screens (like LS Nimbus, where the weather images wouldn’t load and the black bar would remain) so I’ve created a tutorial that will let you get yours working in no time.

Cydia packages you’ll need:
Slide to Unlock Killer

LS Nimbus iOS5 version here

As before you’ll want to open and edit LockBackground.html and search for “locale”, and replace your city instead of mine. Once you’ve installed Winterboard, upload the entire folder to /private/var/stash/Themes as shown below. You can use SSH or iExplorer.

Activate the Slide to Unlock Killer (Bar/Bars) in Winterboard, as well as the LS Nimbus theme, and respring!

If you want the cloud version (the grass version is the one that’s bundled), download this version, rename it LockBackground.png, and then upload it, replacing the original file. Respring.
